  2. Swallowing Stones is an interesting and suspenseful book by Joyce McDonald. The book is about an accident that turned a teenage boy’s life around. I like how suspenseful and how the author foreshadows some of the events. The book uses great dialog and another reason that i like the book is that it has two different perspectives in the story. My prediction that I have been thinking throughout reading the book (still half way done) would be if Michael is overthinking things and that he isn't actually the killer. The quote I picked was when Michael's father said: “That’s what happens when irresponsible people play around with guns", I thought that this brought Michael to a state of guilt because he did the opposite of what his father said

  4. Swallowing stone is such a nice book, suspenseful and powerfully moving. The story is about the one guy which is Michael who fires his new rifle into the air on his seventeenth birthday, he never imagines that the bullet will end up killing someone. That someone is Jenna's father. Jenna said that if she was in court with the killer she would tell the killer that he didn’t only kill one person but he killed three (her, her mother and father) and she said she would shoot the killer. As of now, I am still not done reading the book but my prediction is that Michael would not be the killer end up a relationship with Jenna at the end.
